Finnlo Treadmills
Finnlo Running Machines
Finnlo treadmills are made by a German based company called Hammer Sports AG. The parent company began as a sawmill in the early 1900's and a few years later began manufacturing sporting equipment like tennis racquets and downhill skills since both were made of wood at the time. Over the years the company became a leader in the ski industry before forming Hammer Sport was founded in the 1980's to produce fitness equipment. It wasn't until 2005 that the brand Finnlo was introduced, offering premium fitness equipment including treadmills.
Although a newcomer to the industry they started out with some unique and innovative products that would soon give the company an advantage over other treadmill makers. The Finnlo Nordic Walking XTR treadmill was introduced and brought Nordic walking to the comfort of your home. This extra wide treadmill offers 10 different programs that combine speed and incline adjustments and it comes with a 1.5hp motor. The running surface is extra wide, at 165cm which is almost 20cm more than their next largest treadmill. This is also the only Finnlo model to include a chest belt for accurate heart rate information.
Finnlo also makes three other treadmills that are all built of high quality materials and perform just as your would expect a premium treadmill to perform. The Finnlo Technum II, Finnlo Alpine II and the Finnlo Endurance II are the other models which offer features like speed and distance information, calories burned, heart rate, and a number of different programs to maximize your fitness level.
When compared to other premium treadmills, Finnlo treadmills are a real contender. Although they may not have the history that other treadmills do, they are built well and offer a competitive warranty. If price is your main concern, then a Finnlo might not be your first choice, but if quality and durability are at the top of your list, a Finnlo should also be at the top of your list.
